Through two nonconference games, you’d be lying if you said you had the Ohio State men’s basketball team pegged.
The Buckeyes looked razor sharp for much of their season opener against Illinois State last Wednesday, but subsequently came out dull at the Covelli Center for Game 2 against UMass Lowell on Sunday –– a game that should not have been nearly as close as it was.
Luckily for Chris Holtmann and company, there are still a couple nonconference matchups on the schedule at home before the No. 23 Buckeyes (2-0) have to plunge into league play, and their next opportunity to get on the court comes Wednesday against Morehead State (1-2).
