COLUMBUS, Ohio – It is a wrap on the official Ohio State team camps for the month of June with seven events in the books, six taking place at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and the final one on the field of Ohio Stadium on Wednesday.

They were much smaller camps than what we had seen in the past, going for split sessions on each day, really meaning that the seven camps essentially were 14 camps, with morning linemen sessions and afternoon workouts for everyone else.

Campers were able to receive a lot more individual attention from the Ohio State staffers with no camps of 600 or 700 this time around, most camps seemed to be in the 150-200 range (per session), give or take.

It got us to thinking, as we saw a lot of players come through, from current Ohio State commits to members of the classes of 2022, 2023, 2024 and even beyond, who had some of the most impressive performances, that we saw.

Now, we are capping our list as just a dozen and plenty more players went and earned offers. There were some players that we just did not see, either because of focusing on another player at the time or for whatever reason.

And we are going to focus just on players who are not committed to Ohio State at this point, so someone like Tegra Tshabola, who looked very good at the recently completed Wednesday camp is ineligible for this list.

Here are a dozen names that shined for us, we list them in alphabetical order.

The four-star linebacker out of Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit high school did everything that was asked of him and was part of a solid linebacker group that worked out with Al Washington.

Bowles earned his Ohio State offer, one of two-dozen that he now holds. Bowles certainly is not the biggest linebacker at this point, checking in at just 207-pounds, but his quickness and instincts were on display through drill work and it was not difficult to pick Bowles out of a relatively deep group of backers.
