COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes were back to practice on Tuesday morning at the WHAC as the team has returned from spring break. There are no interruptions now as Ohio State works towards its annual Spring Game at Ohio Stadium on April 15th.

The annual affair will have a bit of a new twist this year however with a pair of guest coaches taking to the sidelines. Ohio State announced on Tuesday that former Ohio State assistant Lou Holtz will be one of the guest coaches while NIKE Inc. Chairman Emeritus Phil Knight will lead the other team, even if only in a symbolic nature.

"I am very close to each of these individuals and I have enjoyed their friendship over many years,” head coach Urban Meyer said via a press release, "but even more I respect the impact they have had on Ohio State and college football. I am looking forward to having Coach Holtz and Phil Knight on our campus as guest coaches, and I am very appreciative they want to take part in and support our spring game."

Holtz gave Meyer a big job in 1996 when he hired him as a receivers coach at Notre Dame. Holtz's career saw him win championships at Notre Dame before heading to South Carolina and eventually the studios of ESPN. Holtz was inducted to the College Football HOF.

Knight was a co-founder of NIKE and the Buckeyes have been wearing NIKE apparel for more than two decades.
