Video: Trayanum comes up big

With his team needing a spark, Akron (Ohio) Hoban junior running back/athlete DeaMonte Trayanum provided one in the second half. Locked in a tie game with Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius, Trayanum broke a 21-yard late third quarter touchdown run and then got free again early in the fourth on a 43-yard scamper to put the Knights ahead by two scores.

Hoban would ultimately hold on for a 21-14 victory in the season opener featuring two Northeast Ohio powers.

BuckeyeGrove.com was on hand for the big-time matchup and we have video of Trayanum's performance.
