Video: Stoney talks about the pass catchers

COLUMBUS, Ohio - On Saturday the Buckeyes hit the field at the Horseshoe to scrimmage and see where things stand with the offense and defense going at it. The defense got the best of the offense this time around and it was apparent that there was a combination of youth and lack of numbers on the offense. That isn't a slight of the defense however, a unit that played very well.
Tight end Jake Stoneburner figures to be a big part of the offense once the season starts. With the loss of DeVier Posey to suspension and Dane Sanzenbacher to the NFL Draft it will be an open competition to catch the ball, including tight ends and running backs.
We caught up with Stoney after Saturday's scrimmage to get his thoughts on how things went and to talk about the position as a whole.
