Video: Pryor runs the gambit

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Don't tell Terrelle Pryor that Saturday's game is a Pryor vs. Jacory Harris showcase game. The two quarterbacks are friends but each player knows that the two will never line up directly opposite of one another during the Ohio State v. Miami game.
Pryor took a few moments on Wednesday afternoon practice to update the media on how things are going for his game week preparations and talked about his friendship with Harris and several other Hurricane players dating back to the U.S. Army All-American game in San Antonio (Texas). Those days are long gone with everyone now competing in games that count in the standings for big time college programs. Pryor joked that his most recent conversation with Harris was short because he didn't want to have any momentary moments of compassion for his opponent.
The Ohio State quarterback has been on the biggest of stages for many games during his Buckeye career and it wasn't until January at the Rose Bowl that Pryor was able to breakthrough against the Ducks. That win doesn't make up for personal disappointments against teams like USC and Texas in the past and Pryor feels now is the time to exorcise those demons.
With only a couple of days to go to the clash of the two top-15 teams Pryor seemed to be in a good mood and even joked with the media about the status of former Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James who left Ohio for the Miami Heat. James has been a rumored guest on the sidelines for the game and Pryor left a message for fans that might want to get on James' case if he does in fact make the trip to Central Ohio. All joking and light moments aside however don't expect to see Pryor have any sort of loss of focus when the chips are on the table Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes are still better than a touchdown favorite against the Canes and everything is on the line here in week two.
