Video: Is the defense back

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Purdue Boilermakers walked into a bad situation on Saturday afternoon facing a Buckeye team that had little margin for error after a loss to Wisconsin the week before. Of course there also was the issue of losing to Purdue just a season before. Either way you look at it, the Buckeyes were not going to have any excuses for lack of focus going into the game.
Ohio State's defense was up to the challenge shutting out the Boilermakers as the Bucks rolled to a 49-0 win to advance to 7-1 on the year. But more importantly it seems as if the swagger has returned to Ohio State Buckeyes as the team needs to do it with style the rest of the way.
Cameron Heyward has been one of the leaders of the defense and while the numbers have been good all season long, save one game, it felt good to finally pitch that first goose egg.
We caught up with Heyward after the game on Saturday to talk about how the defense played and the mood of the team moving forward as there are only four games left in the regular season.
