INDIANAPOLIS - When Michael Brewster committed to the Buckeyes in April of 2007 the sky was the limited and he was dubbed the leader of the Brew Crew, aka the recruiting class of 2008 for the Buckeyes.
Sure, there were no national championships and there were several low moments to go with many, many high moments. Multiple Big Ten Championships, BCS bowl wins and a 3-1 record over Michigan (despite what the NCAA record book says) will be remembered more than some issues that plummeted the 2011 season into the dark pages of the Ohio State record book.
Brewster was a fixture on the offensive line and once he got into the starting lineup as a freshman he never left. Brewster was honored as an all-Big Ten performer during his career and he will always be remembered as a fan favorite of the Buckeyes and a player who was not afraid of the cameras.
We caught up with him at the biggest job interview of his life, the NFL Combine, to get his thoughts on the process, he journey with the Buckeyes and what is next for Brewster as the NFL Draft rapidly approaches.
