COLUMBUS, Ohio - The grind of fall camp is starting to set in if you look at the calendar but you wouldn't know it if you talked to any of the Buckeye players. Tuesday's practice was another hard hitting affair and even with several players wearing yellow injury jerseys it was easy to see that players were not holding back.
There was some obvious juggling of the lines at practice but Cameron Heyward held his familiar spot at defensive end (other than when he slides inside) and the rest of the line feeds off of what the senior lineman brings to the table.
Expectations are high for this squad but the preseason polls mean little to the Buckeyes and the expectations that matter are the ones set by the players and coaches themselves That is one of the things that we asked Heyward after Tuesday's practice.
Aside from that Heyward has had a chance to see a couple of the young linemen up close and personal and talks about what true freshmen Johnathon Hankins and David Durham have meant during camp and how the line plans on progressing and growing as the 2010 season goes on and the Bucks hope to march towards Arizona and a possible berth in the National Championship game.
Out BuckeyeGrove.com cameras were at practice and caught up with Heyward to get his thought on these topics and many more here in this Free Hi-Def video update.
