Tyler Moeller granted 6th year

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Tyler Moeller has had a strange journey while at Ohio State. First the 6-foot-0, 210-pounder had to wait to find his path to the field and go through a position change from linebacker to defensive back. Then after finally finding a niche on the team a freak incident robbed Moeller of another season. And then just when it seemed as if 2010 was going to be the year after a tremendous comeback injury cut that season short with a torn pec.
But Moeller will have a chance to play again after learning that the NCAA granted him an additional year, his sixth, for the 2011 season. Moeller went through the application process after the injury but today was the day that Moeller learned in front of his teammates.
Moeller was making his presence known at the 'Star' position for the Buckeyes but his return in 2011 will be a huge lift for a Buckeye defense that will be replacing several seniors after graduation. Moeller obviously was excited about hearing the news and was all smiles during Wednesday night interviews.
We caught up with Moeller during those interviews and have all of his thoughts and comments about this tremendous news.
