For the first time all year, it truly seemed like it was basketball season in Columbus.
National Signing Day had come and gone, the football team's staff was fully assembled, and spring ball and the NFL Draft and combine are weeks away. Add in the fact that the school's biggest rival was in town, both teams were ranked in the top 25 and Ohio State was wearing the best uniforms they ever have-it was a perfect recipe for the season to really start.
The game didn't go as planned, though, as the Buckeyes saw a double-digit lead evaporate before their eyes and Michigan victorious at the end of the contest.
What went wrong for Thad Matta's squad during the game? Are we any closer to finding out how good this team truly is? Did Matta basically admit following the game that this team isn't as good as previous year's teams have been?
The NCAA Tournament is about a month away, where does Ohio State stand right now? What's their ceiling in March?
And we can't go a full show without talking about football, so we discuss the very faint possibility of Aaron Craft playing for Urban Meyer next season.
All that, and more, on this week's episode of The Grove Show.
