Teradja Mitchell commits to Ohio State

Ohio State continues to steadily pick up momentum on the recruiting trail. On Friday night the Buckeyes landed their second Rivals250 pledge in as many days as Virginia Beach (Va.) linebacker Teradja Mitchell became commitment No. 12 in the 2018 class.

The 6-foot-3, 232-pound prospect chose the Buckeyes over Florida State, giving Ohio State the nation's top rated inside linebacker prospect. Of the 12 commitments Ohio State has in its 2018 class, 10 are rated among the Top 250 prospects in the nation and 11 are rated at least four-stars.

Mitchell's commitment moves Ohio State to the No. 2 spot in the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings, trailing only Miami (Fla.) who currently has six more commits than the Buckeyes. Ohio State is leading the way among all teams in average star ranking for its 2018 class.
