Sprinkle was allegedly involved in an altercation at an undisclosed location and police reported to the scene.

The Lorain Chronicle-Telegram reported that Lorain City Jail booking logs had Sprinkle charged with possession of drugs (unspecified), drug paraphernalia and riot/failure to disperse.

There were reports on Saturday that incorrectly stated that Sprinkle's arrest stemmed from heroin charges.

Sprinkle did not play last season for the Buckeyes during a redshirt season and was a 3-star recruit according to Rivals.com coming out of Elyria high school.
