In San Antonio at the Army Bowl the players were not on the practice fields as they took a chance to visit the community and get a day away from hitting. But that doesn't mean there is a lack of information as many of the nation's top players are still trying to decide where they want to go to college with a little more than a month left until National Signing Day.
We thought that we would take today as a chance to change our focus from San Antonio however to Orlando where another crop of top players are in town for the Under Armour Bowl Game and there was plenty of news on the radar today.
Has there been a change in the status of Lawrenceville (Ga.) linebacker Trey Johnson and his plans to decide at the bowl game? A report came out saying that he may be looking to slow things down but we have the latest from that situation.
Running back/athlete Dontre Wilson is still committed to Oregon but is there any chance that another program, say Ohio State, could move in and flip him? Many think that a change of status with Chip Kelly could be enough to make a chance, we delve further into that situation.
And we have not talked about Rossville (Ga.) defensive back Vonn Bell for a couple of days in our daily Skull Session. We have the latest on what we are hearing in that recruitment and 'who is his guy'.
