Many of the nation's top players have taken flight and are at one of the four major all-star games taking place over the next several days and I have made the trip to San Antonio for the U.S. Army Bowl Game. Ohio State commits and targets are well represented at these games and there will be particular attention paid to the Army Bowl where Ohio State could have a really solid week.
With so many big happenings we are going to a Daily Skull Session for the duration of the all-star week (thanks to our friends at Shade on the Canal and Leghorns, see below).

Mike Mitchell and James Quick have both said they will make their pledges at the Army Bowl game and all of Buckeye Nation is hoping for the best. Several current Ohio State commits are here as well and are in the ear of the pair (and Shelton Gibson as well, though he does not have intentions to announce this week). We break down what we know from the bowl.

We also will have our ear to the ground to hear any buzz surrounding other players and at other bowl games as the situation warrants. Expect updates on Trey Johnson and Vonn Bell as the week goes on as the Buckeye recruiting class stands the opportunity to swell to close to two dozen players if all things go right.

In addition we have the latest on 2014 top player Da'Shawn Hand. Earlier on Sunday we showed you what Hand is capable of as a wrestler and how he trains in wrestling to stay sharp for football. But where do things stand on the recruiting front? We have the latest after having a chance to speak to him, face-to-face.

And staying in 2014, the Buckeyes have not really made any moves toward splashing the scene with quarterback offers with interest heavily in Clemson commit Deshaun Watson. Are the Buckeyes still putting the majority of their focus there? It is no secret that Ohio State is hitting the state of Georgia hard in 2014 (Watson is from Gainesville, Ga.). We have the latest there.
Not a member yet? Not a problem... there is no better time than now to take advantage of the seven day free trial and get on board with recruiting news developing quickly. Take the first step by Signing up here to get all the latest.
