Signed: Jack Miller

The word "commitment" has probably lost its meaning to most people in the world of major college football recruiting. But Jack Miller embodies that word perhaps more than any other prospect that Ohio State has signed in recent memory.

Miller committed to Ohio State early over offers from coast-to-coast. Then he watched as chaos ensued around him. From a revolving door of quarterbacks entering and leaving the program over the past two years, to a new head coach that he did not originally commit to, to a new quarterbacks coach that he did not originally commit to.

Through it all, Miller never visited other programs. Never disparaged the program. Never complained and never seemed to doubt his belief in his pledge to Ohio State.

On Wednesday morning, Miller followed through on two years worth of standing by his word, signing with Ohio State and giving the Buckeyes at least one four-star quarterback prospect in their 2020 class as they await word on C.J. Stroud.

Givler's Thoughts

Miller had a bit of a tough senior year with injuries hindering his ability to compete on the camp circuit in the summer and taking him out of a few games this fall. But when he was healthy, he was extremely productive as always. He'll arrive at Ohio State as one of the most prolific passers to ever come out of Arizona.

Miller has plus arm strength and has always proven to be an accurate thrower of the football. He spots the deep ball well and can also make the tough throws into tight windows.

With a wide open depth chart behind Justin Fields, Miller will have a chance to get his feet wet very early in his Ohio State career.
