Burns flips to Ohio State

It didn't take Louisville (Ky.) Trinity ATH Rodjay Burns long to make a decision. After wrapping up his official visit to Ohio State this morning, the three-star prospect flipped to the Buckeyes on Sunday night.

Ohio State was hoping to get some answers on its defensive back recruiting coming out of a big visit weekend and the Buckeyes got just that on Sunday night from Rodjay Burns. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete from Louisville (Ky.) Trinity flipped to the Buckeyes after being committed to Louisville for nearly a year.

Burns spent the weekend at Ohio State making his scheduled visit after the Buckeyes had really turned up the heat the last couple of weeks, offering Burns and making him a priority target.

Ohio State will still be looking to add another defensive back to his class before National Signing Day. New Jersey's Jordan Fuller, Pittsburgh area prospect Damar Hamlin, and Florida's Carlos Becker are three of the top remaining targets that the Buckeyes will be pursuing. Becker was also on campus this weekend with Burns.

Burns is commitment No. 22 for Ohio State in the 2016 class and the Buckeyes remain at the top spot in the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings.
