HOUSTON – There is more than one major target for the Buckeyes hat Lamar high school in Houston. Everyone already knows about Anthony Cook but don't sleep on Al'Vonte Woodard, a four-star receiver and member of the Rivals100.
Woodard checks in at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds and plays even bigger than that. He is the nation's No. 34 player according to Rivals.com and has a pair of all-pro players that he patterns his game after.
"I would have to say AJ Green or Dez Bryant," Woodard said. "AJ Green, he is a deep threat and has the speed, length, route running and hands, all of those and I have all of those."
When asked to describe his own game, he checked off a lot of boxes that people would be looking for in a game breaking type of big receiver.
