Rivals Challenge: Brendon White

Ohio State commit Brendon White has been a steady riser in the rankings throughout the recruiting process and the Powell (Ohio) Olentangy Liberty product once again impressed over the weekend at the Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta.

White has dominated camps on the state and regional levels in recent months, but showed he belonged in a field of national prospects and did it at a position that he might not even play in college.

As a receiver, White is a natural pass catcher with a big body and frame that he uses well to shield defenders in tight spaces. He has the ability to go up and high point the football in traffic and he has greatly improved his route running over the past year.

White may very well end up playing linebacker at Ohio State, where he is an even more unique talent, but he has undoubtedly proven that he is capable of playing wide receiver at the college level.
