Revamping the rankings
Once National Signing Day comes and goes, fans don't give much thought to the rankings.
They know how their team did, get ready to root on the new freshmen and then think ahead to the regular season.
What if someone reconfigured the rankings to reflect ineligible players, or players who simply didn't show up on campus? That would give a truer sense about how each team did.
Well, Rivals has done just that, unveiling its first-ever rankings based on enrollees only.
There are some changes, including Oklahoma moving into the top spot and a few schools moving up or down quite a bit.
Ohio State was affected only slightly as just one player, athlete Freddie Lenix didn't make it in.
To check this out for yourself, take a look at Rivals' revised rankings.
