COLUMBUS, Ohio - It has been about 24 hours since the bombshell dropped on the Ohio State football program and it is all that people can talk about. Six Buckeye players will be suspended to start the 2011 season and five of those players will miss multiple games.

This story is far from over as the Ohio State athletic department plans on appealing the punishment that will cost Terrelle Pryor, Dan Herron, DeVier Posey, Mike Adams, Solomon Thomas and Jordan Whiting playing time.
People may think that the punishment was too harsh or too lenient and that will be argued well beyond the time that the suspensions are served. People will also go round and round about the rules that the Buckeyes were accused of breaking in selling merchandise that was given to them due to on field success.
Managing Editor Kevin Noon was a guest on Sporting News Radio Thursday night to talk about several issues surrounding this big news that will cast a shadow over the Ohio State program for years to come. Check it out.
