Major target set to announce

The Buckeyes have been on a bit of a commitment drought over the summer but things could be looking up as one of their top targets has set his decision date. St. Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter wide receiver Jameson Williams took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to set the stage for his announcement.

The Rivals250 product will announce his college decision on Friday. Williams has kept a top five in recent months that includes Alabama, Nebraska Ohio State, Oregon, and UCLA. He did not make a previously planned official visit to Oregon last week. Williams was part of the official visit group that Ohio State brought in in late June and has stated in the past that the Buckeyes are the team to beat for his services.

Williams is one of the nation's fastest wide receiver prospects, having been clocked as low as 10.54 seconds in the 100-meter dash. Even through the coaching change in the wide receivers room in Columbus, Williams has remained a top priority for the Ohio State staff.
