E16: Buckeyes might not necessarily click right away

COLUMBUS, Ohio - As we are within mere hours until the kickoff of the 2018 football season, Ohio State gears up for the season debut against Oregon State on Saturday. The noon kickoff Sep. 1 at 'The Horseshoe' is a welcome distraction from a month of drama. We explain that despite the lofty expectations – and spread – the Buckeyes have their work cut out for them.

Mike Singer of BeaversEdge.com joins the podcast to preview the game from the Oregon State perspective. We discuss a bevy of newcomers, including a new coach, and how the schemes will impact a team coming off a 1-11 season.

Also BuckeyeGrove.com recruiting analyst Marc Givler previews a light weekend of visitors for the game. While not much is on top for 2019 this weekend, it doesn't mean there's no news to share. We explain how Ohio State may be in line for a pair of huge visits later this fall.

Finally, we debut the first UnscriptedMail segment.
