Martell sets return visit

Ohio State continues to look for a second quarterback in the 2017 class and Tate Martell is one that the Buckeyes have honed in on for a while now. Martell will be back on campus in the very near future.

Things could be heating up for Ohio State in its search to add another quarterback to the 2017 class. Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman product Tate Martell will make a return visit to Ohio State over the weekend, the Rivals100 product posted on his Twitter account.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound dual-threat prospect visited Columbus back in the spring before decommitting from Texas A&M. Martell had recently announced a top five that included the Buckeyes along with USC, UCLA, West Virginia, and Cal.

Many consider Ohio State and Cal the top two contenders for Martell and there is beginning to be more and more talk that he could make a decision this summer after initially stating he would take his five official visits.

Martell is the rated the No. 31 overall prospect in the nation by Rivals.com and the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the class nationally.
