Looking back at Curtis Samuel the recruit

We are less than a week away from the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis as many of college football's best draft eligible players will take part of this annual event. The Buckeyes will have eight players represented in the draft class who are all hoping to make impressions on the assembled NFL coaches and front office brass who will be there to make multi-million dollar decisions.

One player who made a bit of a surprising decision to leave Ohio State for the draft this year is Curtis Samuel, the Brooklyn (N.Y.) native who led the Buckeyes in receptions in 2016 and was a focal point of the Ohio State offense.

What kind of player was Samuel in high school when Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes took a shot at the athlete? Our Mike Farrell looks back at Samuel the recruit as we get ready for the upcoming NFL Combine.
