LAS VEGAS - It has been a whirlwind senior year for Rivals100 wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey. After moving back to California briefly, Lindsey returned to Las Vegas and Bishop Gorman High School, only to suffer an early season collarbone injury. Now back and healthy, Lindsey was able to be part of his team's triple overtime win over powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.).

Being part of such an emotional game with so many momentum swings definitely brought a lot out of the electric receiver.

"Every single play I was damn near crying, I left my heart out there," said Lindsey. "I was cramping a lot, but I had to keep going back out there because I know that my teammates needed me. I was already out too long with an injury. I had to fight through it and I believed in my teammates."

Gorman never panicked despite a few situations where it looked like the game might be lost. The national schedule the Gaels have played, prepared them well for such a situation.

"Our schedule prepared us very well for this game," he said. "We were expecting to put up a whole lot more points, but we still got the win. We executed when it was crunch time."

Lindsey's return to Gorman has had its bumps and bruises with the collarbone injury and the cramping issues on Friday, but Lindsey couldn't be more happy to be back.

"It feels great (to be back at Gorman)," he said. "I always felt that this was my true home. Everyone of my teammates treats me like a brother. It's a blessing to have them."

Reuniting with a couple of his future teammates was exactly where Lindsey wanted to be for his senior year. He watches Ohio State every Saturday and has been impressed with what his future teammates are doing. He has also been impressed with future teammate, St. Thomas Aquinas wide receiver Trevon Grimes. Grimes unfortunately suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Friday's game.

"My Buckeyes are out there dominating," he said. "I can't wait until I'm wearing that uniform. I can't wait to be wearing that uniform with my three guys here (at Gorman) and Trevon (Grimes). God Bless Trevon, I just want to send all prayers out to my future teammate. I'm thankful to have him as my future teammate and to get to play against him to help me compete."

That 'third guy' at Gorman that Lindsey is hoping to share the field with at Ohio State is senior safety Bubba Bolden. Bolden put on quite a show on Friday with a pair of key interceptions.

"Bubba is the main priority," he said. "Bubba to Ohio State. I started that hashtag on Twitter and I'm not going to stop. I would give him the player of the game (Friday). That's the guy that we need at Ohio State and I'm going to get him."
