COLUMBUS, Ohio — Marshon Lattimore knew all along the player he could become at Ohio State. A four-star prospect and the No. 3 player in Ohio’s 2014 class, Lattimore never had doubted himself.

For the better part of two collegiate seasons, though, there was a problem: Lattimore’s hamstrings.

Lattimore had long battled with hamstring injuries, going back to his high school career at Glenville, and they continued to persist upon his arrival in Columbus. They led to him redshirting in 2014, and in 2015, after seeing time in seven games as a reserve, Lattimore was shut down following the Rutgers game.

“I knew I could play all along; I just had to get healthy,” Lattimore said Thursday at Ohio State’s pro day. “And once I got healthy, I knew I could show everybody what I could do.”

And show us he did.
