FORT WORTH, Texas - Ohio State commit Demetrius Knox has dreamed of playing for the Buckeyes since he was a young kid growing up in Springfield (Ohio). Though he has since moved to Texas, his passion for Ohio State football has never wavered, even after issuing an early verbal commitment to the in-state Longhorns.
Knox of course re-opened his recruitment and ultimately chose the Buckeyes over the summer, giving Ohio State yet another big-time recruit out of Texas after landing Dontre Wilson, Mike Mitchell, and J.T. Barrett back in the 2013 class.
Now the nation's No. 1 offensive guard is just a few months away from living his dream of suiting up for the Scarlet and Gray and he is the subject of our first interview on our 2013 'Texas Tour'. Despite his pledge to Ohio State, there is plenty going on with the big-time lineman as he prepares for the Army All-American game at the beginning of January.

In addition to his Army Bowl preparations, Knox is also going through a rigorous workout routine as he hopes to make an early impact at Ohio State. The Buckeyes graduate four of their starting five along the offensive line and Knox is fully aware of the early opportunities that await him in Columbus.
We sat down with the Rivals100 product to get his thoughts on his upcoming college career, a second consecutive state title to close out his high school career, and a wide variety of other topics in this one-on-one interview with one of the crown jewels of the 2014 Ohio State recruiting class.
