| | Haskins is going to have to get used to working for more than a half once Big Ten season ramps up again, starting with Penn State this week. In a half of work, he was 21-24 for 304 yards and five touchdowns. It is hard to find much fault with his game against Tulane as he takes the top spot in Nick Bosa's absence. Last Week: 3 |
| | Like many of Ohio State's first teamers, it was a short day of work for Jones but he made his presence known with 1.5 tackles for loss as he was part of a first-team line that had to make up for two missing starters. Jones appears to have made the right decision in coming back to school because he has been plain dominant so far this year. Last Week: 2 |
| | With 14 tackles for loss, everyone had a chance to get in on the party and Fuller had one of his own. The throw game did not come near Fuller all that often with only 10 completed passes but he has shown throughout the year that he is a difference maker and the Buckeyes need to have him on the field. Last Week: 4 |
| | Jordan was dinged after TCU for some low snaps and that seems to be corrected against Tulane. Was it a matter of the pressure of the line he was facing? Penn State is going to apply a lot of pressure and the Buckeyes need Jordan, still in his first year at center, to give his quarterback every advantage possible. Last Week: 11 |
| | The Buckeyes only had 151 yards rushing as a team and Dobbins had 55 of them and a touchdown. It was not one of Dobbins' best games in an Ohio State uniform but he did have some key runs to move the chains even if his long for the game was only 10 yards. Last Week: 5 |
| | Campbell had a career game with eight catches and 147 yards with two touchdowns. Campbell now leads the team in receiving yards and touchdowns and has shown that he can do more than just take the short pass a long way with a long touchdown strike from Haskins. The Buckeyes will need him to stretch the field against Penn State this upcoming week. Last Week: NR |
| | Hill continues to be the most consistent of the Ohio State receivers and leads the team in receptions. He had four against Tulane and while he was kept out of the end zone he always seems to be in the right spot and running clean routes, allowing Haskins to make easy decisions to throw to him. Last Week: 6 |
| | While the Ohio State offensive line has not been perfect this year, it had played pretty darn well and Prince's name has almost never come up, and when it has, it generally is with praise for the play of the senior tackle. Tulane defensive end Robert Kennedy is not going to forget playing against Prince (go back and watch the replays if you don't know why). Last Week: 8 |
| | Young came right out of the gate with a big tackle for loss for the Buckeyes and after that there were so many different combinations of defensive linemen, it was easy to lose track of who was out there. Young still is not putting up the production that many would expect and his talent has really kept him on this list but the voters are getting a little impatient and expecting more. Last Week: 10 |
| | Weber got dinged up during the game and because of that only had six carries and should be good to go against Penn State. After such a strong game one, it has been a bit of a challenge for Weber to replicate those numbers but all-in-all, he is still one of Ohio State's best players and always on 'watch' for having a big game. Last Week: 7 |
| | There were a lot of players under consideration for this last spot and Mack won by the closest of margins. He made a fantastic touchdown grab to close out the first half and better yet, appeared to have gotten past his 'drop game' against TCU. 7-11 is open once again and that makes all Ohio State fans happy.
