Holtmann lands four-star wing

After a few tough losses on the recruiting trail, Ohio State men's basketball coach Chris Holtmann landed a big commitment on Friday night from Bloomington (Ind.) North wing Musa Jallow.

The 6-foot-5 small forward was also considering Indiana, Virginia, Vanderbilt and others before making the decision to commit to Holtmann and his staff. Holtmann had been previously recruiting Jallow while at Butler.

Making things more interesting for Ohio State with this commitment is that Jallow is reportedly reclassifying to the 2017 class, and his commitment video confirmed those reports, making him immediately eligible to play for the Buckeyes this season. Jallow had been rated the No. 84 overall prospect in the 2018 class by Rivals.com.

Jallow joins Massillon (Ohio) Jackson forward Kyle Young as late additions to Ohio State's 2017 class since Chris Holtmann's arrival in Columbus. Both were rated four-star prospects by Rivals.com and should provide some immediate help to a roster that has seen its depth depleted over the past two months.
