In what could end up being one of the biggest recruiting days in recent memory for Ohio State, the Buckeyes have now solidified the quarterback position in their 2016 class as Rivals100 product Dwayne Haskins has flipped his commitment from Maryland.

The 6-foot-2, 188-pound signal caller had been linked to Ohio State in recent weeks after a surprise official visit and after a quick trip over to Maryland on Saturday, decided that the time was right on Monday to make the switch to Ohio State.

The Haskins news wasn't the only big news out of Maryland as he made a joint announcement with five-star linebacker Keandre Jones.

It is expected that Haskins will no longer make his official visit to LSU which was tentatively scheduled for January 22nd. The commitments of Haskins and Jones will propel Ohio State to the top of the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings.
