Ohio State's class of 2018 visitor list on Saturday was among the best lists of prospects to attend a game in Columbus in recent memory. Right at the top of the priority list when it comes to the junior class is Westerville (Ohio) South running back/athlete Jaelen Gill.

No stranger to Ohio State, Gill was once again impressed with his time on campus and was impressed with effort put forth by both teams in the double-overtime win for the Buckeyes.

"It was a very hard fought game, from both ends," Gill stated. "As always, the better team will come out with the win and that's what happened (Saturday)."

As Curtis Samuel crossed the goal line to give Ohio State the win, fans and recruits all stormed the field. Gill, who is still in a walking boot recovering from a season-ending leg injury, didn't let the injury stop him.

"I had to (storm the field)," he said. "With the boot and everything. I've never been a part of anything like the storming of the field. It was incredible."

Gill is one of the nation's most electric players with the ball in his hand, a reason why he has been so highly coveted by every major program in the Midwest. At Ohio State, both the running back and H positions could be in play for him, should he keep his talents with the local school.

"My preference is running back," he started. "But I also understand my full ability, and that is to also catch the football. So I would be okay with an H (role) if I were to go there."

Gill is currently rated as Ohio's top prospect in the 2018 class by Rivals.com.
