Four-star LB sets official visit

Things have been moving in a positive direction for Ohio State with Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral linebacker Pete Werner in recent weeks. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect decommitted from Notre Dame earlier this week after an unofficial visit to Ohio State over the weekend.

"The 9th to the 11th," Werner said, when asked if he had finalized any visit plans with the Buckeyes.

Werner had been committed to Notre Dame since March and comes from the same program as current Ohio State wide receiver Terry McLaurin. Originally offered by Ohio State back in the winter, but this past weekend's visit was Werner's first to Columbus.
