Holmes will make his way to Columbus again this weekend.

The list of five-star visitors continues to grow for Ohio State as the Buckeyes' biggest recruiting weekend of the season is just a few days away. The status of five-star defensive back Darnay Holmes has been in question in recent weeks, but the California native will make his official visit to Ohio State this weekend.

The nation's No. 3 ranked cornerback prospect confirmed his visit intentions in a text message to BuckeyeGrove.com.

As things stand on Monday afternoon, Ohio State is expected to host five uncommitted five-star prospects in the 2017 class this weekend for official visits and three more Rivals100 prospects, making it one of the most talent-loaded recruiting weekends in the history of the program.

Holmes has been to Columbus multiple times in an unofficial capacity and is still considering the Buckeyes along with Michigan, Nebraska, UCLA, USC, among others. He is slated to announce his decision at the Army All-American Bowl in January.
