Fact or Fiction: Time to rest up?
Ohio State got back in the win column last week and will face and over-matched UNLV team on Saturday. Are the Rebels as bad as the loss to Howard would make them appear? Kirk Barton, Marc Givler, and Nevada Buck debate that, among other topics in this week's edition of Fact or Fiction.
1. Fact or Fiction: Ohio State should rest all questionable players this week such as starting MIKE Christopher Worley and running back Mike Weber.
Barton: Fact. This game will get ugly in a hurry and we need our horses for the stretch run. Clear the benches early and build depth, specifically at the OL and with the DBs.
Givler: Fact. The Big Ten schedule is back-loaded this year for Ohio State as things really don't get cranked up until mid-October. Let the young linebackers get experience while Worley gets the week off and give Weber an extra week to get fully healthy as that could be invaluable when dealing with a nagging hamstring.
Nevada: Fiction. Rest Worley, but play Weber. It's the fourth game of a relatively short season--so it's time for guys to be playing unless they are really sidelined. Weber needs the reps and we need to see what a two back set with Dobbins can really do.
