Down in front
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State's defensive line came into last Saturday bruised and tired from its showing against Penn State and noticeably ran on a lower gear.
"We need a little bit more [from the pass rush]," coach Urban Meyer said. "When you lose a guy like [Nick] Bosa, it is going to be a tremendous hit. The other guys have worked really hard, it is not what we expect [from the pass rush].
Bosa's not the only player injured anymore for Ohio State's defensive line. Redshirt junior defensive tackles Robert Landers and Dre'mont Jones are both dealing with nagging issues, and junior defensive end Jonathon Cooper went down against Indiana. His status for Saturday is unknown.
Now it's time to get a true test of the "next man up" mentality at Ohio State.
