COLUMBUS, Ohio – Cornerbacks Kerry Coombs has heard all the questions before. Will Ohio State be able to reload in the defensive backfield? Is this the year that a successful run of DBs going to the NFL will catch up with the team? Something has got to give, right?

The fiery coach has answered these questions before and feels that 2017 should be no different than 2016 or before that. Ohio State has the athletes and the plan to keep turning out NFL defensive backs without missing a beat.

"You guys never believe me," Coombs said. "You are getting ready to not believe me again. Remember last year, you did not believe me. I find it insulting. Not to me personally, but to the unit. I have people who ask me all the time on how you are going to replace those guys?"

Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley are gone from the cornerback room along with Malik Hooker from the safeties room. There is no way that Ohio State will be able to reload again, right?

Wrong.
