NEW ALBANY, Ohio - Class of 2013 signee Darron Lee will have the shortest distance to travel physically when it is time for the rest of the freshman class to report in June, only having to make the short trip from the Columbus suburb. But if you talk to Lee, the journey was a long one that saw him go through the camp circuit, earn his offer and jump on it to realize a dream.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder committed to the Buckeyes in June of 2012 and many fans took him for granted but Lee never took his opportunity to join the Buckeyes for granted and now all of the hard work has finally paid off.

Lee was also mentioned frequently in the recruitment of fellow signee Vonn Bell with both having ties to the Chattanooga (Tenn.) area and Lee always felt that the Buckeyes had a good shot at landing the 5-star recruit, a feeling that paid off for Ohio State on National Signing Day, much to the dismay of fans across the nation.

We sat down with Lee on Tuesday to talk about the process, what he learned about the process and himself as he was being recruited, his goals and what he would tell a player getting ready to go through the recruiting process as well as much more. Check out what Lee had to say in this free video update.
