A day after adding yet another Rivals100 prospect to its 2018 class, Ohio State has lost one in Stockbridge (Ga.) product Brenton Cox. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect had been committed to Ohio State since back in April but had recently started to take a look at schools closer to his Atlanta area home.

The two programs that have led the charge on getting Cox to have second thoughts are Alabama and Georgia. Cox made an official visit to Alabama this past weekend and with two weekends left before the early signing period begins could make a trip to Athens before deciding.

Cox had been scheduled to visit Ohio State the weekend of December 15th but sources have indicated that the visit is now unlikely to take place.
