COLUMBUS, Ohio – While many conversations center around what year three will look like for J.T. Barrett at the quarterback position the underrated storyline continues to be about the back-up quarterback position for Ohio State.
If history proves anything over the past couple of years, Ohio State will need more than one to be ready to go.
Joe Burrow is ready to step into that role as Barrett's understudy.
With an injury to Stephen Collier and true freshman Dwayne Haskins only a handful of practices into his college career, the job is Burrow's at the moment and he is not going to leave anything to chance or get complacent.

"I feel that I have played okay. I can still get a lot better, obviously," Burrow said. "I still need to work on ball placement, arm strength, all of the above."
