COLUMBUS, Ohio - Tuesday marked spring practice No. 3 of 15 for the Ohio State Buckeyes in year number two under Urban Meyer and he was quick to point out it wasn't one of the best practices for the team. It was the first chance to get the pads on the players and an opportunity for player to make some hits and get back into the swing of things as Ohio State continues "The Chase".

Players like Ryan Shazier and Jordan Hall were held out of contact as they nurse injuries but this was a chance for some younger player or maybe players not currently in consideration for significant playing time to shine under the eyes of the coaches. On the defensive side there will be plenty of spots open for competition but there are no sure things on either side of the ball so everyone knows that they have to bring it at every practice.

We were allowed to turn our cameras on for the first 30 minutes of the practice and have a couple of quick highlights of what we saw. For a more detailed summation of what we saw, even when the cameras were off, click here to get our premium update from what went down at the WHAC.
