COLUMBUS, Ohio – It is that time of the year, all-league teams are being released and the Big Ten just dropped all-Big Ten defensive/special teams team for football on Tuesday morning and the Buckeyes were well represented throughout the top three teams and honorable mentions.

Defensive ends Nick Bosa (Media, Coaches) and Tyquan Lewis (Media, Coaches) along with cornerback Denzel Ward (Media) were all named to the first team. 12 Buckeyes made their way on to teams through all of the lists.

Lewis shocked many when he came back for one final season but made the most of the year with a shot at a Big Ten title and maybe more. This year Lewis had five sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss.

Bosa led the Buckeyes with six sacks and had 12.5 tackles for loss. He ranked second in the defensive lineman group for the Buckeyes with 28 tackles on the year.

Ward has had one interception so far and is credited with 13 PBUs. He has also been a demon on special teams for the Buckeyes.

The second team has a pair of Buckeyes with Sam Hubbard (Media, Coaches) and Parris Campbell (Media) who earned the honor as a return specialist.

Third team sees a total of five players including safety Damon Webb, defensive tackle Dre'mont Jones, safety Jordan Fuller, kicker Sean Nuernberger and punter Drue Chrisman.

Corner Damon Arnette, linebacker Jerome Baker, defensive end Jalyn Holmes and linebacker Chris Worley were all named to the honorable mention list. Ohio State's Big Ten sportsmanship award honoree is defensive tackle Tracy Sprinkle.

It will be offense's turn on Wednesday and then on Thursday the conference will release its individual honorees.
