Ohio State has added yet another top 100 prospect to its 2017 recruiting class, landing La Grange (Texas) product J.K. Dobbins on Sunday afternoon.

The surprises keep coming for Ohio State in the 2017 recruiting class as the Buckeyes have landed a pledge from Rivals100 running back J.K. Dobbins. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect issued a surprise verbal commitment to the Buckeyes late on Sunday afternoon, just over two weeks after receiving an offer.

Dobbins is commitment No. 13 for Ohio State in the class, though he has yet to visit campus. The four-star prospect recently told BuckeyeGrove.com that a visit was going to be setup at some point during April either for a spring practice or the spring game.

Dobbins is rated the No. 73 overall prospect in the 2017 class, the No. 3 all-purpose back, and the No. 8 prospect in Texas.
