Things can sometimes have a funny way of working out and coming full circle when it comes to recruiting. Another example of that came on Tuesday afternoon as Blinn J.C. (Texas) defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson issued a verbal commitment to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes were the runner-up for Jackson back in the 2016 class, when the former four-star prospect ultimately signed with Auburn, mainly due to proximity to home.

Jackson left the Auburn program this past off-season after a redshirt year and reappeared at Blinn. Ohio State was quick to reconnect with Jackson once the transfer was made after initially being blocked by Auburn as a destination. The year at Junior College allowed the Buckeyes to re-enter the picture and things had moved pretty quickly in recent weeks with Jackson getting offered not long ago.

Jackson was noticeably excited by Ohio State's re-entry, telling BuckeyeGrove.com recently that he was, 'blessed to receive a second chance at an awesome school'.

After having a chance to evaluate some game film recently, Ohio State began to make its push and it didn't take long for Jackson to jump on board.

Jackson is the second Blinn product that Ohio State has picked up recently, joining defensive back Kendall Sheffield who signed with the Buckeyes in the 2017 class.
