The Buckeyes are rolling in the recruiting world and just hours after flipping one Cleveland (Ohio) star the Buckeyes have picked up the commitment of another with Lorain (Ohio) defensive end Rashod Berry giving a verbal commitment to the Buckeyes less than 24 hours after picking up an offer from the Ohio State.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder held at least a dozen offers including ones from most of the Big Ten and local schools but picked up offers from Ohio State and Michigan State on Monday night and gave the 3-star prospect his two biggest offers of the cycle.

"I decided on Ohio State because I love the coaches and I feel comfortable there," Berry said in a statement to BuckeyeGrove.com. "It's a great fit for me."
The new Buckeye was shocked when the offer came in from Ohio State only days after taking an unofficial visit to Ohio State for the game against Rutgers.

"I was surprised," Berry told Josh Helmholdt of Rivals.com. "When they told me my heart dropped. I feel like I'm on top of the world."

Berry camped at Ohio State over the summer and caught the eye of the coaches but it was his senior film that put him over the top and got the Buckeyes to move with an offer.

Berry is ranked as the No. 24 player in the state of Ohio and is the No. 17 weakside defensive end in the nation according to Rivals.com. What position did Ohio State tell Berry that he would play at the next level?

"I'm going in as a big athlete," Berry said. "They haven't given me a projected position yet, so I don't know."
