Buckeyes keep pushing for Ruckert

Ohio State saw many of its top targets in the 2018 class make it to campus on Saturday as the Buckeyes came away with a thrilling overtime victory over rival Michigan. Lindenhurst (NY) tight end Jeremy Ruckert is among Ohio State's top priorities in the class and the four-star prospect once again found himself in Columbus over the weekend.

"It was an amazing atmosphere," said Ruckert. "The ground was shaking all game and it was very impressive how they pulled off the win. I loved my time here."

Ohio State was able to dig deep late in the game after trailing by 10 points late in the third quarter. Ruckert has expressed serious interest in Ohio State in the past but yesterday's game gave him even more reason to continue considering the Buckeyes.

"It shows me they can compete and win against anyone in the country," he said.

Ruckert is still very much open in his recruiting process, narrowing his focus to a group of 13 schools before the season started, both Ohio State and Michigan are in that group.
