The Buckeyes have struck again in St. Louis and once again at Christian Brothers in landing wide receiver Cameron Brown on the first day of the National Signing Day period. Brown had been committed to Nebraska, but the Buckeyes were able to get the flip as he joins fellow teammate Kam Babb as part of the Ohio State 2018 signing class.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is currently rated as a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com but the coaching staff saw much more than a ranking as they welcomed him in for an official visit in early December.

Brown had actually decommitted from Nebraska once before in June of 2017, when the Buckeyes officially offered him. Brown would go on to re-commit to Nebraska two months later but the Buckeyes were always in the picture and keeping an eye on the talented wideout.

The Huskers recently went through a coaching change with the departure of Mike Riley and the addition of Scott Frost.

Brown held more than a dozen offers from schools in the Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC. He joins Babb and Blue Smith as commits in this talented class of 2018 for Ohio State, a class that is in the mix to end the recruiting cycle as the top-rated class from across the nation.

The Buckeyes did well last time they took a player from the metro-St. Louis area with Ezekiel Elliott's commitment to the Buckeyes.

Brown has signed his letter of intent and is now a signed member of the class of 2018 for the Buckeyes. We will have more on what this means for the Buckeyes in terms of what they are getting with their new wideout signee and what it means for recruiting between now and the February signing period.
