Army Bowl: East practice notebook
Army Bowl practices kicked off on Monday morning, with the East team taking the field at the Alamo Dome. Several Buckeye commits and targets were in action.
- Ohio State defensive back commit Tyreke Johnson was flying around the field on Monday morning making plays. Perhaps flying around a little too fast at times as he put a big hit on future teammate Jeremy Ruckert going over the middle. Johnson showed his versatility by lining up at safety and on both the outside and inside as a man-to-man defender. He had a couple of break-ups in 1-on-1's and made a terrific read and hit on a screen play in 11-on-11 action.
