2022 Rivals250 OT includes Ohio State in his top eight

Nearly three-dozen colleges have jumped into the mix for Rivals250 offensive lineman Aliou Bah.

With so many coaching staffs in pursuit of him, Bah decided it was time to shave down his list and focus his attention on eight finalists. On Saturday, the top-30 offensive tackle on Rivals released a top schools list that included Florida, Florida State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas A&M and USC.

Even though Alabama offered him shortly before he tweeted out his top eight, Bah says these are the schools he’s dedicating his attention to at this juncture.

“I’ve been really focused on everybody,” Bah told BuckeyeGrove, “but these schools stood out, so why not right now? Just now is the time I feel comfortable, I just had that feeling that these would be the schools I’m focusing on.”

The Buckeyes, which extended an offer to him on Aug. 14, were one of three Big Ten schools to make the cut for Bah.

When breaking down his decision to continue his consideration of Ryan Day’s program, Bah cited Ohio State’s on- and off-the-field success. The No. 29 offensive tackle on Rivals also said his communication with nearly a handful of staff members, including Day himself, was a key factor for him.
