2022 DB Markeith Williams recaps OSU official, has Buckeyes in his top four
Ohio State’s final official visit weekend of June featured a defensive-heavy group of prospects.
That’s not an exaggeration as only one of their nine official visitors – five-star Kam Dewberry – plays on the offensive side of the football.
One of the targets on defense that the Buckeyes welcomed into town this past weekend was Markeith Williams, who hails from Orlando (Florida).
Williams spoke with BuckeyeGrove about how his official went, bonding with the coaching staff, his fit in their defense, and much more.
“The visit was very great,” Williams said. “Got to get a lot closer to coaches. Because of COVID, we couldn’t have as good of a relationship as we wanted to. It was good. I got more closer to all the coaching staff; Tony Alford, Coach Day, Coach Coombs, all of them are just great people in general.”
